journey starting in the historic city of Cusco, where you will delve into its rich cultural heritage. Following your exploration of Cusco, travel through the breathtaking Sacred Valley, a pivotal area in Inca civilization. The valley offers a more temperate climate and a lower altitude compared to Cusco. Witness charming villages, ancient Inca agricultural terraces, and key archaeological sites. Upon your arrival in Cusco, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation. After a brief introduction, you’ll have the morning to relax and acclimatize. In the afternoon, explore Cusco, a city showcasing a blend of Andean and Spanish influences. Visit the Santo Domingo Convent, which stands on the foundations of the Koricancha, the ancient Inca Temple of the Sun. Continue to Sacsayhuamán, renowned for its impressive military architecture overlooking the city. The tour will also include Qenqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay, all located to the northeast of Cusco. Return to your hotel by early evening.
