Get ready for an exciting adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of the Peruvian Andes. Our Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Quad ATV Tour combines the thrill of riding a powerful quad ATV with a short and scenic hike to one of Peru’s most iconic natural attractions.
After receiving a safety briefing and basic instructions from your guide, you will begin an approximately 30-minute quad ATV ride through spectacular highland landscapes. Ride along scenic mountain trails surrounded by dramatic valleys, colorful hills, grazing alpacas, and the impressive peaks of the Andes.
The ATV journey allows you to cover part of the route comfortably while enjoying the excitement of an off-road adventure. As you approach the end of the ATV route, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
From the ATV parking area, we will continue on foot for approximately 20 minutes toward the famous Rainbow Mountain viewpoint. The walk is short but takes place at high altitude, so we recommend walking slowly and enjoying the journey at your own pace.
As you reach the viewpoint, the spectacular colors of Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) gradually come into view. Take time to admire the extraordinary natural landscape, capture unforgettable photographs, and appreciate the dramatic beauty of the Peruvian Andes.
After visiting Rainbow Mountain, we will continue our adventure to explore the spectacular Red Valley, where the mountains and surrounding landscapes display impressive shades of red, orange, and deep brown.

We strongly recommend spending at least 1–2 days in Cusco or another high-altitude destination before the tour to allow your body to acclimatize. Stay hydrated, avoid excessive alcohol, and take the journey at a comfortable pace.
What to Bring
