Our adventure begins in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Puerto Maldonado between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. From there, we will transfer to the port and board a boat to navigate along the beautiful Madre de Dios River, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the Amazon rainforest and the surrounding landscapes.
During the boat ride, we will have the opportunity to appreciate the lush tropical vegetation and observe different species of birds and wildlife that inhabit the riverbanks. Upon arrival at our destination, we will begin a short walk through the jungle trails, where our expert guide will introduce us to the fascinating biodiversity of the Amazon, including unique plants, trees, and animals of this incredible ecosystem.
Our first activity will be the Canopy Walkway, an impressive system of suspended bridges located high among the treetops. From this elevated viewpoint, we will experience the rainforest from a completely different perspective, enjoying panoramic views of the jungle canopy and looking for tropical birds, monkeys, and other species that live in the upper levels of the forest.
After exploring the canopy, we will continue with an exciting zip line adventure, gliding above the rainforest while feeling the adrenaline of flying through the jungle surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery.
Later, we will enjoy a relaxing kayak excursion along the Madre de Dios River. Paddling through calm waters, we will immerse ourselves in the sounds and beauty of the Amazon while searching for wildlife along the riverbanks, including tropical birds, turtles, caimans, and other rainforest species.
Before ending this unforgettable experience, we will visit Monkey Island, a natural refuge where we can observe different species of Amazonian monkeys in their natural environment. After completing all activities, we will board our boat back to Puerto Maldonado, arriving approximately between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. We will finish our adventure with incredible memories of a day filled with nature, excitement, and authentic Amazon experiences.
